General conditions of sale

The General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed on the website www.forinsectfarming.com, hereinafter “FOR INSECT FARMING”.

  1. OWNERSHIP OF THE DOMAIN

In compliance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE), we inform you that the domain of the online store www.forinsectfarming.com is owned by VILLA INSECT S.L., with VAT number B09631706.

  1. PRICES

All prices shown on FOR INSECT FARMING are expressed in Euros (€) and include the corresponding VAT.
Shipping costs are not included. You can check shipping costs in section 5: Shipping, Rates, and Shipping Conditions.

Products on promotion or with reduced prices will display both their regular price and the discounted price. Offers apply only to available stock, and once sold out, the promotion will end.

Prices and offers on www.forinsectfarming.com are valid exclusively for online orders.

Occasionally, discount coupons may be offered. These coupons are not cumulative with other discounts, promotions, or reduced-price items shown on the website.

Prices may change without prior notice; however, the conditions applicable at the time of order confirmation will always be respected.

  1. SCOPE OF THE OFFER

Products offered through “FOR INSECT FARMING” can be shipped nationally or internationally, following the regulations of each region.

Products marketed by Protiberia / For Insect Farming are designed for use in controlled insect-rearing conditions. The company is not responsible for results derived from improper use.

Exports outside the EU are subject to applicable international health and transport regulations. The customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with destination requirements.

  1. PAYMENT METHODS

When placing the order, the available payment methods will appear:

International payment via Stripe:

You may securely pay using a credit or debit card. Transactions are processed through Stripe’s payment gateway, and no sensitive data is stored on our website. The order will be processed once payment is confirmed.

Credit or debit card:

We accept major cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and others. Card data is processed securely and encrypted. The order will be finalized once payment is confirmed.

Bank transfer:

Our bank account details will be provided during checkout. Orders will not be processed until payment is received. If payment is not received within 10 days, the order will be cancelled. Once payment is verified, the order will be processed.

PayPal:

You may pay instantly via your PayPal balance or a linked credit/debit card.

An invoice will be issued once the order is placed. In order to generate it, you must complete all required fields, including DNI/NIF. An automatic invoicing option will be available for products that do not require a prior quotation.

If the buyer provides a business VAT number (CIF/NIF), the purchase will be considered professional and consumer rights will not apply.

  1. SHIPPING, RATES, AND SHIPPING CONDITIONS.

Shipping and/or handling costs are not included in the product price and will be displayed before purchase finalization. Once you enter the delivery address, shipping costs will update automatically.

All orders placed on “FOR INSECT FARMING” constitute a firm purchase request. The purchase contract is formalized once payment is received, at which point the products will be shipped.

Delivery is considered completed once the carrier places the products at the customer’s disposal.

Damaged or incomplete delivery:

If the package arrives damaged, with defective packaging, missing items, or deteriorated products, this must be indicated on the carrier’s delivery receipt. You must also contact us within 24 hours at +34 601 67 26 33.
Claims outside this period cannot be accepted.

In-store pickup:

To collect your order at our physical facilities, you must present your ID and the order confirmation email. If someone else collects the order, they must show your ID copy and a signed authorization.

Shipping costs to our facilities, if required, must be paid by the customer.

Orders with mixed availability:

If your order contains items with different availability (e.g., stock items and made-to-order items), the longest estimated delivery time will apply.
In exceptional cases, ForInsectFarming may split the shipment at no extra cost.

5.1 DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery time depends on product type, manufacturing time, and distance. All times are approximate and do not grant the right to compensation unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Orders paid by bank transfer will not be processed until payment is verified.

5.2 PROCESSING TIMES FOR ORDERS

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email once the order is shipped.

We are not responsible for damages arising from shipping delays unless negligence is proven.

5.3 SHIPPING FEES

Shipping costs are calculated based on delivery location and conditions.
Payments and invoices are issued in Euros (€).
International customers are responsible for exchange fees and bank commissions.

For international orders, the buyer is also responsible for taxes, duties, and destination fees.

  1. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.

Products marketed by Villa Insect SL under the For Insect Farming brand are designed for controlled insect-rearing conditions. The company is not responsible for results from improper use.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized or made-to-order products, nor to perishable or contaminable goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing at info@forinsectfarming.com, including your order number and product reference.

If the return is not due to an error by ForInsectFarming, return shipping costs must be paid by the customer.

If the return is due to an error on our part, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it promptly.

Products with manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

Return procedure:

You can request a return by:

  • Emailing info@forinsectfarming.com with your order number and items to return.

  • Calling +34 601 67 26 33 (Monday–Thursday 7:00–18:00, Friday 7:00–15:00).

Defective product on arrival:

ForInsectFarming will repair or replace any item defective on arrival, covering all related costs, including pickup and reshipping.

If repair or replacement is impossible, the full amount paid for the product (including its share of shipping costs) will be refunded once the defective item is returned and inspected.

Incorrect product due to our error:

We will cover pickup and redelivery costs.
Refunds, when applicable, will be issued within 14 calendar days after receiving and verifying the returned item.

Withdrawal exceptions:

No withdrawal applies to made-to-order, customized, perishable, or contaminable products (e.g., insect feed, biological material).

Products are displayed as accurately as possible; however, colors may vary depending on screens. If you need more information before purchasing, contact us.

  1. ABOUT THE ONLINE STORE

FORINSECTFARMING reserves the right to modify its commercial offer (products, prices, promotions, and conditions) at any time.

We strive to ensure the information shown is accurate.
If any error occurs, it will be corrected immediately.

If an incorrect price is displayed and a customer places an order based on that error, we will notify them, and they may cancel the purchase at no cost.

The languages available for the website and the sales contract are Spanish and English.

  1. PRODUCT WARRANTY

Warranty periods depend on each product. Please consult us, especially for machinery.

The warranty does not cover deficiencies caused by negligence, improper use, impacts, incorrect installation, tampering, or normal wear and tear.

During the second year, ForInsectFarming may request verification by an official technical service. If the issue is caused by misuse, repair costs will be charged.

For consumer sales (non-professional), customers have the right to free repair or replacement during the first two years, unless the nature of the product makes this impossible.

Returns or exchanges require prior notification to Customer Service via info@forinsectfarming.com. Returned items must be properly packaged.

  1. APPLICABLE LAW, CLAIMS, OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION, JURISDICTION

Purchases made on www.forinsectfarming.com are governed by Spanish law.

In disputes involving consumers, jurisdiction corresponds to the place where the obligation is fulfilled or the buyer’s residence.

For business-to-business sales, both parties submit—waiving any other jurisdiction—to the courts of the buyer’s domicile.

Consumers may file complaints with their regional consumer authorities.
